Beyond surveillance — the operations layer. SMIPL modernised WCL's RFID access control and weighbridge integration into a fully automated, tamper-proof coal-dispatch ecosystem. 5,000 encrypted RFID tags, 65 drop-box systems, 75 check-post displays, 4 centralised data servers. Every vehicle authenticated, every weighment captured, every exit validated. CERT-In and STQC compliant throughout.
After the WCL benchmark, SECL engaged SMIPL under a separate tender to deliver its own ICCC covering 832 cameras across 13 SECL Areas — including Gevra and Kusmunda, the 2nd and 3rd largest coal mines in the world by annual output. VMS scaled to 1,300 cameras, 50 simultaneous operator viewing licences, 6-year SLA with three round-the-clock operators at SECL HQ Bilaspur.

Weather-sealed housings rated for Indian airport operating conditions. Integrated into a unified VMS for 24×7 ATC-grade monitoring of runway, taxiway, apron and perimeter zones.
A Tier-III-aligned data centre delivered end-to-end under a single EPC contract. Civil works, LT panels, redundant UPS, precision HVAC, structured cabling, fire suppression, access control, BMS integration — all nine disciplines owned by SMIPL. Multi-year CAMC with defined response SLAs.
